Still no baby.
Today I ran 13 miles for the first time in my life. I finished in about 2:24:56, which is about an 11:16 mile. In my shorter runs I am running about 10:00 minute miles. Here is my route, which was designed with help from Hannah, one of the Central debaters.
After I got home, Meg and I walked to Trotter's for breakfast and then when I got home I worked in the yard raking. Now I am pretty tired and my legs are aching to beat the band. But I feel good and the training is going well.
Oh one other thing, I need bigger band-aids because both nipples bled today around mile 11.

I don't even know you any more!

Wonderful work Pete. With regard to nipple problems (or chafing in general): Vaseline is your friend. Smear it on liberally, everywhere--feet, toes, nipples, inner thighs, armpits, and anywhere else that you have constant rubbing. Also make sure you have a good shirt that doesn't hold moisture.
